Privacy Policy

Tennis Buddy uses account, profile, tennis activity, location, match, court, tournament, message, notification, privacy-setting, and support-request data to operate the app and help players find better games.

Location features are designed around user choice. You can set a location privacy level in profile settings, and discovery uses rounded or filtered location data according to that setting.

If you choose to use those features, Tennis Buddy may process profile photos or avatars, score or match evidence, optional voice match logging, device and notification identifiers, app activity, diagnostics, crash reports, and analytics events. We use this data for app functionality, security and abuse prevention, support, analytics, developer communications, and personalization of player discovery, match recommendations, and notifications.

We do not sell personal information. Operational providers such as Supabase, Vercel, Sentry, PostHog, Resend, Twilio, OpenAI, Anthropic, Despia, and similar infrastructure or security providers may process data only to run, monitor, protect, and improve the product.

Data is encrypted in transit. Some profile, match, community, or tournament information may be visible to other Tennis Buddy users according to your privacy settings and the features you use. Private messages and support requests are used to provide the app and keep it safe.

Data portability (GDPR Art. 15 / CCPA § 1798.110): You can download every piece of data we hold about you as a ZIP archive. Visit Download your data while signed in. The first request per 30 days is free; the download link is valid for 48 hours.

Account deletion (right to erasure): To request account deletion, follow the data deletion instructions. Soft-delete keeps a 30-day restore window before all your data is permanently removed. For any other data right, contact privacy@tennisbuddy.io.
